Job Title: AV/IT Support Technician

Principle Function
To provide help to staff and faculty with any audio, visual, and computer needs and to assist in the upkeep of all related equipment.
Specific List of Responsibilities
A/V Needs
- Operate sound, visuals, and/or lighting Calvary Murrieta Christian School events when necessary.
- Set up and/or teardown audio and visuals for Calvary Murrieta Christian School events.
- Program lighting for Calvary Murrieta Christian School events.
- Preforming maintenance and upkeep of all sound equipment and work with the IT Director to replace, upgrade, or fix outdated or nonfunctional equipment.
- Perform other IT and AV related duties as assigned by the IT Director and/or the Head of Schools
IT Needs
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Maintain IT equipment via Cloud Based Systems e.g. Apple Business Manager (ABM), Microsoft Device Manager (MDM), Microsoft Intune, Google Admin, etc.
- Create and maintain user accounts on various operating systems e.g. Apple, Microsoft, Google, etc.
- To assist in the maintenance and upkeep of computer systems, network hardware, software, and work with the IT Director to replace, upgrade, or fix outdated or nonfunctional equipment or software.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
- Assist in the development and writing of IT documentation.
- Maintain technical documentation and service records for future reference.
- Assist the IT Director in training staff in the use of our computer systems, iPads, classroom hardware, and software.
- Routine maintenance of our computer systems, iPads, software, networking equipment and other hardware.
- Help maintain computer system and network security by assisting and educating staff about potential security issues.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Install computer peripherals for users.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the IT Director and/or the Head of Schools
