Job Summary:
Calvary Murrieta Christian Schools is seeking a passionate and qualified Technology Teacher who will integrate technology instruction with a biblical worldview. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, a heart for Christian education, and a commitment to helping students grow academically, spiritually, and ethically in the digital age.

Responsibilities:
● Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging technology instruction for students in kindergarten through 8th grade, incorporating current tools and best practices.
● Teach foundational and advanced concepts such as keyboarding, computer applications, digital citizenship, coding, robotics, and multimedia design.
● Foster a safe, respectful, and Christ-centered classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and responsible technology use.
● Integrate biblical principles and Christian values into lesson plans and classroom discussions.
● Collaborate with faculty and administration to develop and enhance the technology curriculum.
● Maintain and troubleshoot classroom technology and coordinate with IT support when needed.
● Stay current with technological trends and educational tools to continually improve instructional delivery.
● Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
● Participate in staff devotions, faculty meetings, and school events that support the spiritual life of the school community.

Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree
● Valid teaching certification/licensure (preferred but not required).
● Prior teaching experience, preferably in a Christian or private school setting.
● Strong understanding of instructional technology, educational software, and digital tools.
● A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith.
● Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff in a Christ-like manner.
● Passion for discipling students and integrating faith into learning.

● Experience with Google Workspace for Education, Microsoft Office Suite, or Apple tools.
● Familiarity with coding platforms (e.g., Scratch, Python, HTML/CSS), robotics kits (e.g., LEGO Mindstorms), and learning management systems (e.g., Google Classroom).
● Training or certification in educational technology (e.g., Google Certified Educator, ISTE Standards).
● Ability to assist with school-wide technology planning and integration.
